Hi there, and welcome back to the blog.
To begin this blog post, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to visit the website. I really appreciate your being here and hope that you enjoy this week’s article. If you do, I would recommend going back and looking at some of the other blog posts on the site as they may be to your liking, too, and we will see a lot more of you back here for future posts.
This week I would like to discuss why I write blog posts and why I enjoy connecting with each of you through this website.

When I am writing something like this for a blog post, I feel a strong connection with those who may take the time to open the link and read my blog. So I imagine what it would be like to read the blog from the reader’s point of view and ask myself if it would be something that I would like to read myself.
The most important thing to me when I sit down to write the blog post for the week is knowing that someone is choosing to read what I have written, and it is important to me that I make my post worthy of the time spent reading it. So my minimum aim for each blog post is that it is entertaining in some form, sometimes informative and also engaging. I also realise that not everyone wants to spend too much time reading on their phone, so my posts need to be concise – something I struggle with as I like to go on long-winded rants when the occasion calls for it.
I know from previous experience how important it is to consistently show up every week and always be here with a post when it is expected and not to take too much time between posts if I am ever unable to post on any particular Friday for one reason or another. Consistency is essential to me this time around as I tended to take a lot of time between posts on my previous site.
It also feels really nice when I get engaging comments back when a post of mine moved someone enough to want to open a dialogue with me about that week’s topic. I love getting the chance to talk to those who read my content and discuss what they liked, or in some cases, didn’t like about it and take that feedback onboard.
On a personal note, I also like to write here as it gives me an outlet to express opinions that I don’t usually say out loud. So having you here listening to me when I have something to say feels very validating, and when I say I really appreciate you taking the time to come here and read what I have to say, I mean it. I really do. Writing has always been a way for me to express myself and is the main reason I can picture myself doing this for years as long as I have people willing to listen. So I really appreciate you for that.
In closing, I hope that you enjoyed this article. It was a pleasure to share why I write and share why my readers are so important to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope it was worthy of your time.
If you would like to hear more from me in the future, you can follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram on @MolloyWrites; you should be able to find me on those platforms where I regularly share updates on the latest blog posts to go up on the site here.
Until next time.
Warmest regards,
James.
